1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AniQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AniQ is an anime tracking application that allows users to track anime watch progress, discover new series, view airing schedules, import data from AniList, and receive notifications about new episodes.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using Apple Sign In or as an anonymous guest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Anonymous accounts may be subject to data loss if the app is uninstalled.

4. Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display this content as part of the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, use automated tools to scrape data, interfere with the App's functioning, or impersonate other users.

7. Third-Party Content & Intellectual Property

Anime information, images, and metadata are sourced from third-party databases. We do not claim ownership of this content and use it under fair use principles for informational purposes.

AniQ's brand, trademarks, app design, and source code are the exclusive property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written permission.

8. Data Import

The data import feature allows you to transfer your anime list from AniList. You must provide valid access tokens. We only access your data when you explicitly initiate an import.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AniQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AniQ operates.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which AniQ operates.
